enjoyed the announcer's comment that OSU's almost undefeated season should give Gundy a chance at some of the big time jobs opening up this year like South Carolina.

Imo that was just another dig at the Big XII. It's been epidemic this year with media scorn. I mean, most coherent fans of the game could tell you that almost every job in the Big XII is a better career decision than Maryland.

I know very few (if any) State fans who don't have a degree from there. I will pull for them over OU with gusto.

OU vs OSU is like the movie War Games...no matter the score I can't win and be happy. If I had my druthers, OSU wins and Baylor wins the Big XII title

It's probably true that SC or Maryland are steps up. Like OSU they're 2nd or 3rd tier programs in their conferences but at least they're both top programs in their states. And Maryland is vastly better educationally.

Gundy probably wants to get away from his boss - T-Bone. I bet he got a heated memo on that loss Saturday.

Well Duke is superior academically but that doesn't mean it's a smart football move.

Maryland is going to be mediocre for a long time. Almost any team in the Big XII could step it up in short order to launch to a higher profile job.

There is no way Maryland is a step up. Their facilities are downright awful as well as their commitment for their football program. I would argue that Clemson is the better program in the state of SC btw.

Gundy isn't going anywhere.

South Carolina and Clemson seem to be pretty close in attendance with SC a tiny bit ahead, and both way more than OSU.
