At least the US score a goal and made it interesting … didn’t expect a win, but damn … my favorite teams are out (US/Germany/Denmark) and only Argentina left … if they win, probably lose to the Dutch

For a bit there at 2-0 I was thinking, man we are kind of dominating this, but as soon as we get within one, NED goes on the attack and quickly scores.

If they really wanted NED could probably win this 8-3.

I am still waiting to see what Musah is supposedly bringing to the team. So many bad touches/passes.

Zap- he is the Lafreniere of the USMNT.

3 mental mistakes resulted in the 3 goals. We haven't played bad outside of those lapses.

US and Germany are my teams but I like underdogs so I hope Japan can make some noise. Croatia and likely Brazil will be hard though.

We will.

They are the hardest position to develop and the US youth system doesn’t necessarily support the type of selfishness needed to be a world class striker.

The academy system will fix that. We have that player - but he’s probably U14 right now. 2030 World Cup.

You think if the Netherlands "really wanted" they'd win 8-3. First time watching the sport?

Good tournament by the young team. They showed a lot of that youth at the start of the game. But lots here to like and be hopeful about for the next WC.

I always hear oh USA soccer is coming along and is going to be a major player on the international scene . It’s always the same old crap and disappointing result . We have been to the quarterfinals once in what 30 plus years ?? I mean it’s nice we won a game this tournament …but cmon . USA soccer stinks when you factor in our population and resources

Hahahahaha. I credit you for your consistent approach to all things.

You must be a food or theatre critic as your day job.
