To bad...The cops on there do a good job, and sometimes even let a young guy/girl escape with a warning...Really liked the big cop who looked like a DE...I wonder if he played FB somewhere at the college level...

Why do you need a gun? Just call the cops.

Cops are awful.

Yep. Humanity is doing great.

A pity but a sign of our times :(

You would think that folks would want more visibility, cameras, etc. on cops versus less.

Unfortunately, this show may have shown cops (the majority I might add) in a much more positive light than those screaming for less speech, less balanced press coverage, and less diversity of opinions.

I liked him too. He had a good disposition with people he dealt with and nobody was In a rush to give him any lip.

And Communism ain’t so bad....

The ultimate irony is the ones who want that system so bad (or remain quiet because the "other side" warns against it) are always the first logs thrown on the fire if you know what I'm saying. Once the "useful idiots" have served their purpose, it's time for the Columbian necktie.

How did society morph so quickly into something so naive and puerile?

Same exact playbook ... different (and dumber) generation.

Higher "education", perceived guilt, soy milk, and self loathing....pathetic.

Funny thing is I finally convinced my wife to buy her very first pistol. She said driving home she felt sick but she overcame knowing how much the cancel culture is running this Country into the ground, and more than likely we will not be able to count on anyone protecting you other than yourself moving forward :uzi: Bang bang Mo fo’s

They have taken Cops off of TV also. It amazes me how many willing participants to this disaster there are. If you have not purchased a gun for your personal protection I suggest you do so and get trained to use it, in a very quick fashion. We are all about to be a completely unprotected society.

Going to rename my middle school and high school here in Manassas, Va (both are Stonewall) -- but of course last night they decided our 13th county high school would be Gainesville High School -- guess they thought that was safe except Gainesville, Va is named after Thomas B. Gaines -- prominent landholder and slave owner in Prince William Co before the war. If we are renaming everything in Virginia because of ties to slavery -- we are basically renaming EVERYTHING. Only thing NOT named after a slave owner in Virginia is a creek, river or farm named after a tree or a plant....

Crazy thing is..these loony clowns have no idea how much tax money it costs to have something re-named. Imagine how much money the military will spend in re-naming Fort Hood, Benning, ect..

And to add insult to injury: Paw Patrol is taking the police shepherd off. And Lady Antebellum is renamed to ‘Lady A.’

I’ve always been a History guy. I have been to Gettysburg, Fredericksburg, and so on. You can’t erase the past and I’m afraid most are doomed to repeat it.

Another irony will be the white guilt ridden liberals who gentrified so many inner city neighborhoods will be the next sacrifice.

We're not dealing with flesh & blood here.

This goes well beyond that ... and is merely one battle of many being fought right now.

Yep. Rockingham County looking at renaming Turner Ashby HS. I would bet you that 90% of the general population has no idea who Turner Ashby was.

Why get worked up about this ****? Who cares what a HS is named, unless you don't go to college and still pay attention to HS. If it makes people happy, rename them all! Anything that can be done to show a level of respect makes sense to me, particular when it is relatively painless to do.

There goes my non-football Saturday nights.

Communities were already having a hard time recruiting police officers. The applications have taken a nose dive the past two decades. I doubt anyone will want to apply after this. Its already a hard job that is underpaid given the daily risks they face. Now everyone is trying to play gotcha with them.

Are there bad officers? Yes. And they should be held accountable by their peers and the legal system. But there are bad doctors, bad waiters, bad attorneys, bad contractors, bad teachers, etc.

What happened was shameful and the officer should be held accountable but some really broad brushes are being painted because of this and its going to have a terrible impact on the ability of communities to promote safety due to future staffing shortages.
