His last year during his second stint at Louisville (2018), they were 121st in scoring offense. They were quite better than that the previous couple years under him though.

Will be interesting to see if he's still got it.

I've always thought that he and Spurrier were the best head coaches who actually handled their offenses. They were also similar schematically. They found ways to get receivers open. I'm thinking Petrino can still do it if the personnel is there.

It should be unless a ton of them have hit the portal. They had a lot of that highly ranked freshman class playing this year from what I've heard.
