OT: About To Have 1st Grandchild ...

Lord willing ... My Daughter, Camille, is scheduled to be induced on Monday morning. She's having a boy. I appreciate thoughts and prayers for her - the pregnancy has been semi-high-risk (she has lived with a rare genetic condition, Smith-Lemli-Opitz, that has impacted her life from the time she was born in 1992, yet she has been a tough cookie through many ups and downs). If I get time and all goes well, I will post a pic in a few days.

His dad is a big 'Bama football fan but there should not be problems making him a Duke Basketball fan. :) I will work diligently on the brainwashing. ;)

Let son in law know the baby becomes a Duke fan or he is out of the will lol.Just kidding prayers for your daughter

Congrats. Can't describe the feeling of having your 1st grandchild . It is just different. Only way to know is experience it. Let us know when it takes place and try to explain the feeling. OFC

Thanks for the prayers. Our daughter gave birth on Monday to our grandson and all went really well!

Jason Clark (named after his dad and his dad's granddad). 5 lbs 12 oz (bit bigger than they thought he'd be). 18 1/2 inches long. He's a keeper!!! ;)

Sky and Youngman the Good Lord has yet to bless me with a grandchild, I am thankful for yours but so jealous I can hardly stand it.:( Young man the little fellow already has burning look of a great future Dukie and you should buy him a set of the lighted devil horns and repost a pic. Also, prayers for your girl.

Youngman42, I am expecting my first grandchild this week she is due on the Tenth. Told my daughter in law she could have it Wednesday or Friday but not Thursday night lol. Awesome pic

Congratulations on your grandson. Glad everyone is doing well. There is nothing like them, we had our first two years ago and he is a papaw's boy. Go DUKE came shortly after saying momma, papaw, etc. lol

Really elated for you!!! That's fantastic. Hope & pray all goes well on the birth with the mom and baby! It really is better than you can imagine. Such a joy to hold a grandchild.
