None of those.

Brodie retired in 73 and is now 81. He won a senior golf tourney in 1991.

Nix is now 72 and retired in 1972 with the Houston Oilers.

Strock is now 65 and was Marino's back up in 1987. He finished his career with the Colts in 1989.

John Madden the HOF coach of the Raiders from back in the day...

Why did he not wait on his team when traveling to road games?

Hey guys just a thought. With the season upon us and it seems to me when are running out of trivia ?'s how about w shut this down until the off season. I started it just for something to discuss during the off season but it's game time. Let's try this . I will ask a final question and whoever gets it correct 1st can start it up in the spring after we win our 6th National Championship. Ok here goes. Put on your thinking caps because it is a tricky one. The question is. Who was Phil Linz and what musical instrument he famous for playing. . OFC

Oops. Forgot about this. I usually don't check the board as much on the weekend. But yes, if everyone is cool with the thread being down temporarily as the season is approaching, I'm cool with that.

I've still got plenty more trivia questions, though, if someone wants that too.

Really good job there dbav. That was a tough one for sure and there's not a lot of even the most die hard sports fan that knows the answer to that one. You are gifted for sure. You will be up the day after we bring #5 home. OFC

Haha, thanks. It also helped that you've asked that one before. :)

Since it is the off season, I thought I would get this going again. So I'm throwing a softball to Sky who started this thread:

How many World Series Titles have the New York Yankees won?

First to answer is next up.

Yep, that's why Girardi wears 28 now, because that will be their next one. When he started with the Yanks in 2008 he wore 27 because that represented what the next WS championship would be. He didn't have to wait long as they won it against the Phillies in his second season as manager with the Yanks.

This is a tough one unless you are one of the people on here that just happens to know the answer. Which former Duke basketball player is married to a former Miss North Carolina. Not the university of north carolina but Miss N.C. that was in The Miss America contest. There's not a lot of hints but I will give them as need. Both are still alive and well. OFC
