Does Seth Curry count? He didn't get a ring in 2010, but he was certainly a big part of the development of the team.

Pocius graduated from Duke. He redshirted in 2008 I believe, so he could have had an additional year. So if that's the case, maybe I could say Thornton, Hairston, Curry, Paulus, McClure

If you don't count Seth Curry or Marty Pocius, the next logical one would be DeMarcus Nelson.

Okay... Can you name the 3 schools that have at least 25 NCAA Tournament appearances without a Final Four? I don't think this should be too challenging, as it seems like this graphic shows up on the tv/internet every year before the Tourney starts.

You're missing Danny Ferry with the Spurs in 03.

I had even forgotten about Dabby Ferry winning an NBA championship. I came up with my question based on an article that I read after the Cavs won game 7 that said that Battier was Coach K's first former player to win an NBA championship.

Of the six schools mentioned so far, only one of them is correct. I will provide more clues later on if need be.

Not any of those four, sky.

The missing school has been really successful in recent years (not successful enough to reach a Final Four, of course); but they're consistently ranked in the top 25. The vast majority of their tournament appearances occurred after the tournament expanded to 64 teams

Good guesses, but still no.

They've made it to the Sweet 16 five of the last nine years. Not a program that had a lot of success historically, but they are definitely one on the rise.

That's it, hart. Take it away! Grooms and sky also had a correct answer. So I guess whoever responds the quickest with a question can go next.

Most appearances without a Final Four: BYU-29, Xavier-26, Missouri- 25

Gonzaga only has 19 tournament appearances; but they have made it to 18 consecutive tournaments, so I guess you could say they're on a roll :) I think the Zags have another good shot at making a FF this year, FWIW. Nigel Williams-Goss who be eligible, and he was already one of the most dynamic play-makers at Washington, averaging 16 ppg, 5 reb, 6 assists; Jordan Mathews from Cal will be eligbile, who averaged 13.5 ppg and shot close to 42% from 3. Missouri's leading scorer/rebounder from 2015 will be available, Johnathan Williams III. The Zags' starting center, Przmek Karnowski, will be back after sitting out the 2016 year with a back injury. And starting point guard Josh Perkins will be back as well as a solid recruiting class that is ranked #13 by 247sports.

I got one that combines entertainment and sports. Name this multi talented star . He reached the top level of 2 major sports and was drafted by a 3rd. Just for trivia he was the first NBA basketball player to shatter a fiber glass backboard. After sports he went into television and starred in several television series. He was also nominated for an Emmy for one of his characters.

1. Name this star.
2. Name the two professional franchises that he played for.
3. Name the other professional franchise he was drafted by.
4. For what in television was he nominated for an Emmy?

This really should be fairly easy for any Duke fan. He was a good shooter and a pretty gritty guy. OFC

Hart you have to think about his time line with the pro teams he played with. It was the late 40's and very early 50 's that he played professional sports. You are all over one of the locations of the team but you have the sport wrong in that city. As for the other team you put up the team you have put up relocated to that city but it was a different sport. These hints may be confusing but if you really think you will come up with it. If you figure that out you will have answered the first two. Off topic here but has anyone heard what Brooklyn Decker is doing these days.
As for the 3rd question in which you answered the Celtics which was wrong you have a different sport and franchise however the Celtics have the shamrock and you may already stumbled onto some luck there if you can just put it all together like in 1986. If not with a hint like that I've got some bad news for you and that is you will never get #3. As far as the 4th question goes involving the Emmy nomination it wasn't a weekly television show but an epic
mini-series that I feel that you will master if you know anything about genealogy or family history. I hope you or one of the other posters come up with it. I don't like these questions to drag out. Please don't lose any sleep just think about all the hints here. I've got to go and score a baseball game and will not be back until after 10. OFC

Roots is correct and so is the Brooklyn Dodgers. You are still missing the pro team that drafted him and the hint is there. You are also missing the other pro team he played for but that answer lies within. Good luck. I'm going to bed. OFC
