Who fouled out for Duke in the TRIPLE OVERTIME thriller win for Duke in 1968 against UNC forcing seldom used Fred Lind into action sparking a miraculous Duke win?

It looked bleak when this former Duke star got his 5th and was headed to the bench...

Going to MLB. Pete Rose is baseballs all-time hits leader with 4,256 hits followed by Ty Cobb's 4,191. Who is 3rd on the list with 3,771. OFC

That was a funny story actually. My father went to Atlanta to visit a fraternity brother/best friend and the friend had the tickets. The friend ended up having a conflict and couldn't go, so my father went with some strangers. Hank Aaron ends up going yard.

Okay, Duke related: How many, if any, postseason tournaments did Army qualify for with K as head coach? As a bonus, what tournaments?

I'm pretty sure LaFrenz is incorrect - I think he was a senior the year Pierce was a junior.
I remember watching all those KU teams (I grew up in KS). Roy had a bunch of 4 year guys that were really good college players.
Ah, Drew Gooden! He played with Collison (maybe a year younger?) and I think he left early but I think Collison stayed 4 years. Heinrick was on that team too.
So I know Pierce is right and I think Gooden is the other.

You are correct, dukephysics! Take it away!

I thought this question was kind of comical because Roy had so many dominant teams in the 90's. I realize that leaving for the NBA wasn't as prevalent back then, but I felt a major shift was starting around 95 (KG declared out of HS) - he could have had several guys leave early. Pierce could have left after his sophomore year; Vaughn, LaFrentz, Collison, and Hinrich all could have gone early and been 1st round picks too.

OK, sticking with the Roy at KU theme. When Roy left KU, who held the team record for most blocked shots in a career? And then which player broke that record under Self?

I'll go with Greg Ostertag and Jeff Withey. Chamberlain makes sense, but I'm not sure blocked shots was an official stat back then.

Dukedevilz you are right. I think Chamberlain would have set it but the stat wasn't kept (and he wasn't a 4 year guy).
