He first started coaching at Cornell in the 86-87 season. Again, he was only at Duke for one year, the 1982-1983 season. His highest profiling job would probably be the 8 years he spent at SMU.

Mike Dement is correct! A name which has long since been forgotten. Dement coached at Cornell, SMU, and at UNCG on two separate stints. On his second go-around at UNCG., he replaced current Iowa Head Coach, Fran McCaffrey
