OT: Any interest in UGA OL transfer Clay Webb?

Former #14 overall rated player and #2 interior OL. We certainly could use some help on the OL, but he appears to be a recruit who just didn't pan out. As a junior, he's only played in a handful of games. I don't really see the allure, but I guess when a OL in your geographical footprint who was the #14 overall player out of high school enters the portal, you at least ask the question.

I'm sure the current staff has done their analysis of this kid. If they don't offer, doesn't necessarily mean he's not that good, but probably doesn't fit the scheme we're trying to implement.

Deadline has passed for him or the other former 5-star OL transferring from UGA (Mims) to go to another SEC school. They would need a waiver to be eligible immediately.

According to today's AJC there will be more players in the portal due to numbers crunch. There are not enough slots for the incoming freshman class.

Rumor (not substantiated) there have been issues with him
