I was laid off back in November from my role as an Enterprise Account Exec selling software to staffing companies. It was an awesome job that I was very good at. Unfortunately they had their first layoff in 20 years and I was one of 120 that were eliminated.

Before that I was in Staffing as a recruiting manger , and previous to that I spent 20 years in the hospitality business as a GM and Director of Ops

Looking to stay remote if possible or Hybrid in the Columbia area. Open to sales, staffing, account managment, etc. I feel I can bring value to any of those roles. I know GCC has helped me with many situations in the past, so I figured why not try again. If you know of anything, please leave an email and I will get in touch with you asap. Thanks!

If you would consider a federal government job, check out usajobs.gov. Not sure of openings in your field in the Columbia area, but you can search and filter. Warning: the hiring process is onerous and slow. Good luck to you.

Ha, is it ever. I started the process in August and began work in February and was told by colleagues after I started that there were surprised I was able to start to quickly. I know some for whom the process took 9 months.

Federal jobs can be hard to land unless you know someone. Many jobs listed on USAJOBS are already spoken for. The listing is a formality to satisfy legal requirements.

Yea, I feel pretty confident with anything in sales. Ive applied to a few medical device roles but most want experience. I feel confident if I can just get an interview, ill sell myself. I try and stay pretty active on LI as much as I can.
