I just heard about it this morning. Wow. Tonight being the Oscars, I must say that it's a lot easier to recognize greatness in its time, as it's happening, with sports than it is w/ movies and the arts. I think it's b/c there are stats that boil down to math and formulas instead of votes on what is "best."( I mean, The English Patient beat Fargo and Crash beat Brokeback Mountain for best picture in their respective years. Are you kidding me?)
Anyhoo, I'm already firmly in the camp that Lebron has surpassed Larry legend as the greatest small forward of all-time, hands-down, and w/ an even smaller sample size, I think it's really awesome that we know we're witnessing history w/ Curry. And w/ the exception of Duke guys (and through Seth he's sort of like a Duke in-law anyway), who is more worth rooting for than a scrawny, baby-faced guy who no one wanted coming out of high school? I hope he doesn't fall victim to what Tom Brady has: having his success lead to our forgetting what an underdog story he really is.
I must have missed that. Has Big O made a big Oops wrt his opinion on Steph?
