I hadn’t heard he’d been canned in Vegas. Maybe he doesn’t just suck as a CFB HC. It’s possible he sucks at everything.

In fairness, he seemed to be well regarded as a DC at Wisconsin and Ohio State. NFL is a different gig. I think there was a HC change at Vegas. Ash does not seem like a guy who makes friends easily. He's a dolt and a little cocky. Not good traits for building a network.
