OT: Badgers Beat Mizzou

Wisconsin beat Missouri in one of those "closed scrimmages" over the weekend. The NCAA has loosened restrictions on releasing info from the scrimmages (the public still can't attend), and Wisconsin apparently "tweeted" the results. Mizzou's highly touted recruited class is an unofficial 0-2 so far, having lost to Kansas in an exhibition game earlier.

Loyola is killing it with their recruiting. Super excited to see Negron play. I don't know if they are favored in the Missouri Valley Conference, but I wouldn't bet against the Ramblers.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other Chicago-area schools get stronger so NU could have some meaningful OOC games with them. Never have forgotten that Loyola championship year of '63.

In college and a little bit after I worked at an athletics facility that hosted AAU tournaments... I saw Negron play a LOT and that kid has crazy lift. I don't know anything about basketball really but that kid could be a freak at LU. He was doing reverse dunks in 8th grade

There is lots of juice about Mizzou now but that team is bereft of experienced talent. I think they are going to have a rough go of it this season.

Seemed like he was a guy on NU's radar, but he never got an offer. Had one from Iowa and Illinois, I believe.

Christian tore his ACL I believe late in his junior year ...I believe several schools backed off.....The two sleepers in this class for LU might be Cameron Krutwig out of Jacobs HS and Lucas Williamson out of Whitney Young ( both in the Tribs first team All State)......Being a Cat and Rambler fan highlite is when I get a same day double header...hop on the L and make both games....but not this year.....
