Wednesday afternoon Fernando Tatis, JR hit career home run number 100 in game number 362 of his career. Only three players have reached 100 home runs in fewer games.
Who are they?

Who are they?
Ryan Howard, Pete Alonso, and Gary "no longer good" Sanchez. I knew the first two because they were players in NY (Mets & Yankees). I had to think about Howard.

All correct.
Bonus question. Who is right behind Tatis at 371 games?

P.S. Sanchez is having a little resurgence. He has 14 homers in only 51 games for the Padres.

Easy. That other dude in NY named Judge. I don't know anyone else after that. 😁

Randy Jones, Garry Templeton & Fred Kendall, final answer.
Incorrect.
I think you meant Clay Kirby, Enzo Hernandez and Chris Cannizzaro.

To tell you how bad the Padres were in 1969 Cannizzaro was their ASG rep.
His line for the year?
.220 BA
4 homers
33 RBI

Since you brought up Randy Jones. He was the first Padre Cy Young award winner in 1976. Since then three other Pods have won the award. Name them.

Hint: None of them are named Trevor Hoffman

69 Padres are getting short shrift among the worst teams of all time discussion

A trivia question only a long time Padre fanatic can answer:
Over the years the Padres have had the overall #1 draft pick 5 times. Can you name the players they selected.
As a hint the years were 70, 72, 74, 88, 04.

Pretty sure Mike Ivie was one of them, 70 or 72.

Winfield went #4 in 1973.

#3 Robin Yount - Milwaukee
#2 John Stearns - Phillies
#1 David Clyde - Rangers
Winfield was drafted by four professional leagues: MLB, NBA, ABA and NFL even though he did not play football.
