Audi Q5 if you're not. Sweet ride w/3.0T
Yes.
I love the look of those as well. Hear nothing but bad things about audis as far as constantly breaking and being in the shops.
Agree with Real--you heard wrong wrt newer Audis.
Not in my experience. We have two Audi's now, my 2013 Q5 and my wife's 2017 Q3. Her previous was Audi A4 Avant. Never has 1 had a day in the shop except for routine maintenance.
Me too.
You hear incorrectly.
I've owned 4. My first - a 2005.5 A4 - was in the shop often enough that I ultimately traded out of it after a little less than two years. It was, however, the very first B7 A4 shipped to NJ and it suffered from being one of the first examples of an entirely new car. My 2010 A4 had no issues. My 2015 A3 has had no issues. My wife's new A4, so far, has had no issues.
Yes.
I have a 2013 Audi A6 3.0. It has 56,000 miles on it and other than new tires and wiper blades and routine maintenance I have had no issues with the car.
Yes.
On my second Q5. First one, 2011 2.0, went 50,000 miles. Not a single issue.
Second one 2014 Q5 TDI Premium Plus. At 54,000 miles. Not a single issue. Audi maintenance is unbelievably expensive, and now that I am out of warranty, I am going to a local garage, but still for a 55,000 mile service, I am going to pay $500. Dealer wanted $1100--but they have a fabulous espresso bar while you wait, making it worth the $$$.
My current Q5 is part of dieselgate. I am getting a total of $10,400 in payments from Audi and Bosch for the pain and suffering they caused me for their fooling the environmental authorities. Better yet, if they dont have a fix that the EPA and CARB approves by year end, they are buying my car back for $4,000 more than I paid for it.
Was surprised to see Audi is going to offer diesel vehicles again in 2018 after the dieselgate debacle. That said, still surprised at how few diesel vehicles are offered here in the US, and the premium charged for a diesel engine and for diesel fuel. Diesel gets a bad rap. I know the technical side of emissions fairly well, and diesel emit less CO and hydrocarbons than gasoline engines. They do emit a lot of NOX, but the newer SCR technology takes care of that. The torque and power on diesel engines is fabulous compared to the gasoline counterparts.
