It's absurd he lacks that much respect for himself that he'd take that job--guessing his options were limited.
It was easy to see this coming, though it is awkward. He got demoted, but he doesn’t have to move.

$15.5 million - $9.5 million for 10 assistant coaches and $6 million for support staff. PSU's is $17 million.

When BGJ fails they can slide Pry back to HC and james can be the DC - maybe Rocky Rahne can come over from ODU to be OC.
I can't remember any other cases of a HC being demoted to a coordinator on the same team. I guess he thinks the reunion with CJF is worth it.

I'm not sure. It was the figure reported when Campbell was hired with respect to what he'd have to work with in 2026. I don't know whether Knowles contract was included in that figure.

Gotta admire the obsessing over Franklin almost 2 months after he’s been fired by the Franklin Derangement Syndrome crowd. I thought you all wanted to move on and forward. As I said yesterday, despite what I think of Kraft, Campbell is our new coach and I will be supporting him and hoping he wins every game he coaches at PSU. As for me, I could care less who Franklin hires and how he does at VaTech.
All in with Campbell but geez my man. It's a message board here for our entertainment.

I don't disagree. I think he'll do well there in a watered down league without having to play the Ohio States of the world. But many people follow FBS nationally not sure at Penn State and any coach trying to bring in the previous HC that was fired who they replaced is a story. It's one of the most ridiculous things I've seen happen.
It just happened somewhere else as well. I think Miss St? HC was fired, Interim Coach took over. They just named interim the HC (?) and brought back the fired HC as DC.

Not exactly. Jeff Lebby is still the coach at MSU. Just hired Zach Arnett, who was fired by MSU as HC in 2023 after not quite a full season.
Well, considering he’s trying to assemble his staff and roster with players and coaches that are currently on Penn State then there is a direct relationship between the two right now and I 100% believe the people should still be talking about him since it does relate to the program so significantly at this point. After the next signing. And the transfer portal and then we get to spring ball then yes he really shouldn’t be brought up but for right now absolutely.

I see a discussion about Pry lacking self respect by returning to the program that just fired him. It's not even truly about BGJ
That said, BGJ is trying to get the attention of our base with most things he does as he's the one obsessed. Once that stops, you'll rarely hear his name aside from those (Marshall) who will act like he won a SB when he beats some FCS team and those that will take joy in any loss. Like 5% of the board.
