Former UConn coach Jim Calhoun is doing the color on the Iowa-MSU game. I've heard a couple of other games he has worked, and have one question: does Calhoun EVER shut up? The guy just talks endlessly. He has some good nuggets of info, but man does he like to hear himself talk. Jim, less can be more. Let the game speak for itself.

Iowa is killing the Spartans. Deep, experienced team. Might just end up winning the Big 10.

The play by play guy (Jason Benetti) is the new White Sox TV PxP for home games. He is quite good! I like him and what a great story he is. Happy for Jason and happy for the White Sox.

Jim Calhoun was offered the NU job,turned it down and led UConn to BB success. I am not sure he would have been successful at NU. UConn had the lowest academic profile of any team and I believe was actually suspended from NCAA participation because of their academic problems for a brief period
