OT: Canyon Barry sets UF record for consecutive FTs

He's averaging 13 points on 34% 3-point shooting in 22 minutes for the Gators. I wish he was a cat, especially these last two weeks.

I do as well and I'd bet that the guys on this years roster feel the same way. That unused schlorship has finally reared it's ugly head.

Sure do wish Collins had been able to land him. I wonder if the guys are disappointed in their coach.

I would rather have taken taken Kipper Nichols (a year earlier) than Canyon Barry with that scholarship slot.

Gues it was extra difficult because that 13th schlorship was in limbo at the time.

Your probably right but a 2nd guard would come in handy about right now.

Not according to court documents and program actions.

Edit: the point is that we should probably stop bringing up that scholarship...it has little to nothing to do with our likelihood of getting in the tourney.

Yeah, I agree.

There's no guarantee CC would have landed someone like Canyon (UF is stiff competition) and while missing out on Kipper is a bummer, that was already two years ago.

I beg to differ. Having to play with one less schlorship player then allowed is hurting this team, especially with two guys injured for the season and another out with an illness for a considerable amount of time. Be honest now, wouldn't you like to have a Berry or Nichols coming off the bench?
