Since Travis made his mean comments about Rutgers, what is RU’s record compared to a Tennessee’s?

Greg has to start winning instead of just developing.

Why does reality always trigger you in every subject?

I really don't care about Travis (or the Vols)......wouldn't even know who he was if guys like you didn't post his tweets on this board. I care about RU, something you will really never understand since you have no real attachment to the school. If you did, you would not be on an RU Forum talking up the Vols.

I thought the same thing about you.

Take your disturbed political views elsewhere.
I see you didn’t renew your CE membership and that’s why you’re hanging around this board. Time for you to really move out of NJ and stay on Tennessee or Miami boards.

I guess you didn’t find a job since you’re posting in the middle of the day. There should be a lot of openings with the illegals moving out of Florida, have you picked oranges before?

Hey Doomsday, can you please mansplain to the OP that you don’t want Clay Travis discussion on the boards?

To quote the un-esteemed Cranford blowhard, F-Off. 😉

Thanks bruh

Wingnut welfare. Lots of professional failures make the switch to jump on the gravy train. Ben Shapiro, Dan McLaughlin, etc. There's lots of money inside the echo chamber.
You forgot Rachel Maddow, Jeffrey Tubin', Joy Reid, etc. . . .

So what? Tennessee is his school and he did Rutgers a favor by being so vocal in his opposition.

He went to Vandy which is telling when compared with his "fandom." And it wasn't deliberate. It's just that RU fans and alums have brainpower...and Tennessee...well...

Some of You guys are seriously triggered by a sports media personality that talked smack about Rutgers how many years ago?

Can’t make this stuff up

As someone mentioned ITT, when Rutgers starts winning they will get praise by the sports media nationally

Dude. . . . C'mon already. Just stop. Step out once in a while.

What did I say that was incorrect?

This dbag- among other horrible things he's said and done- lied about our HC having knowledge of one of the most horrific, perhaps the most horrific, sports scandal in American history.

The guy shouldn't set a toe in this state without being ripped. He's a horrible, horrible person and that any RU fan would stick up for him is disgusting.

Sorry to see another thread go in this direction, but if you think it is about the bold above, maybe step outside your news bubble. This is no defense of Clay Travis. There is a very long list of political dissidents and politically homeless from both parties. The difference is former Ds who disagree with one or two D talking points get branded as a right-winger or something more offensive such as Russian assets by the elitists who are running the party. Just ask RFK Jr or Cornel West of all people. Heaven help them should they be disenchanted with the state of the party they once belonged to. Unfortunately, the purported choices on the "other side" suck equally or more. People tend to feel better about their choices living in and listening to their respective information bubbles.

Really...and how are Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and Mitt Romney branded by Republicans? Are they welcomed?

How about Mike Pence? I guess they roll out the red carpet for him. Oh no wait. That's gallows.

Pretty sure the anger with RFK Jr has to do with absurdly anti-Semitic comments he's made.

I know you are trying to both-sides it , but it doesn't hold water. There are almost no examples of lefties that shifted from a mainstream career of some note to become an extremist. Keith Olbermann, maybe? No one likes or listens to that guy. But for every one of him you have the Ted Nugents, Monica Crowleys, Maria Bartiromos, Scott Adams and on and on that needed that wingnut welfare to stay relevant. That's why Clay Travis became a right wing provocateur, to get back on track. Not because he got married and saw his FICA deduction. LOL, what a ridiculous thing to believe.

It's funny too when their news owes 787M for defamation, yet their leader's lawsuit against CNN was dismissed with prejudice by a judge he himself appointed LMAO

The same guy who talked sh*t about Schiano but went out of his way to trash Rutgers as a sh*tty school with sh*tty fans. He will appear at Bookends (August 7 at 6 pm) in Ridgewood to discuss his new book. You must reserve tickets to see him. I say we should welcome him with a NJ cheer. 🤣
Yes, I was thinking the exact same thing.

And you
overlook what he did to Schiano just because of his right wing agenda.

read that out loud and hear how silly that sounds.

Travis said exactly what to GS because of what agenda?

And why do you care what he said?

It’s getting really comical

No, but he is the only to use false allegations against Schiano and tried to ruin his reputation and a career. Every single RU fan, even the right wing MAGA ones, should despise this man.

Wait what ?

Travis said stuff about GS to help Donald Trump and the Republican Party?

That’s what you’re saying.
That is was your so-called “right wing agenda”

Crazy talk bruh

It’s sane to say you dislike the dude cuz he shat on RU and mischaracterized GS.

It’s not sane to say he did so cuz of a political agenda.

But you guyz , you know who you are, don’t like CT anyways cuz he is not on YOUR SIDE.

There's a big difference between saying we lost a lot of games in recent years versus saying GS was involved in a pedophile scandal.

But as you correctly point out, that's either over their heads or they value politics over RU- which is unsurprising as his fan club doesn't include RU grads.

Not everything has to be so binary. You can agree with him politically, while still maintaining he's a scumbag for trying to marry GS to the PSU atrocity. Just as I'm sure there are people who you may vehemently disagree with politically that are ardent RU supporters. There are plenty in both camps.

Exactly

I already said he was a douche for what he said about GS.

At the time I only knew who he was from that Sports Betting show and I didn’t like him. I could care less about his politics, they mean nothing to me.

Sad that others can’t help themselves
