3-10 years in Federal prison. No bail, looks like he will be going to his new crib pretty quickly.
I still have trouble thinking of this guy, who I truly admired as an individual, ending up as what he really is. Jesus, what a monster!

State prison in Pa, not federal prison.

He will be in a medical unit . They will either keep him around artificially or he will be dead soon.He really tried to lay some truth on african Americans and whites back in the day that both races are culpable and both need to accept responsibility for what divides us. Few listened.

I was a huge fan of Cosby as a kid. The records, all his different shows, his standup appearances or guest hosting Tonight Show. I continued to be a fan as an adult though sometimes he got a bit sappy as he got older. I just couldn't believe when the allegations started. You never know what seemingly nice people are doing when cameras aren't rolling. Too bad he was not caught sooner

it's a shame because he made a lot of sense and said many things that needed to be said. Unfortunately for him, he was shouted down by the race baiters and those that make a living on the strife. What he did however, will forever tarnish his name and rightfully so.

Sorry have zero sympathy for him. His attorney and his daughters statements were beyond disgusting. Still fighting the lies to the end for a guy that admitted he screwed anyone he wanted consensually but gave them pills.
The judge ruled that he is was a sexually violent criminal which means all of his countersuits are over. And lawsuits by all victims can move forward. Scum
BTW this should be a CE thread

Cosby played the Winter formal at Rutgers- Newark (where I spent my first two years). He was backed up by Gail Garnett ("We'll Sing in The Sunshine"). And he was great. Loved his "Noah takes...loved his football plays (go long...I'll fake it to you), Fat Albert. His albums were GOLD!

Liked him on Eye Spy...wasn't really a fan of the show.

Liked him in the Huxtables... but by this time he was an icon- was not an ardent viewer.

Loved him on commercials for Jello Puddddding Pops!
Liked the way he said it...it was funny.

Loved him when he chastised everyone re.: what it's going to take for African Americans to make it.

I'm having a really hard time with this...because like Hoffman (The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, Kramer vs Kramer, Tootsie, Little Big Man etc.), Spacey (The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Glengarry Glen Ross, House of Cards etc.) it hurts to really love someone's work... and then find out their damaged goods/ extremely toxic in society.

Another sad day of finding out that virtually everyone has an Achilles heel.
