OT: da Bears.

Two hikers killed by a grizzly. Rangers shot the bear as it was feeding on the victims. Two deployed cans of bear spray at the scene. Apparently that bear liked spicy food. We’ll see more of this as wolves continue to decimate meat food sources. Grizzlies love berries in the summer but they have to have some meat.

You literally made me laugh out loud. I’ve been an avid hiker but man your head is on a swivel in griz country. So much for bear spray being the best deterrent. As wolves have decimated wild ruminant populations bears have fewer food sources. The idea that grizzlies survive primarily on grubs, beetles and berries is pure fiction. Those huge canine teeth dictate apex predator. Humans are easy prey.
