Tombstone is very well acted, all around. Really, it should have been a mini-series a la Lonesome Dove, one of the greatest Westerns.Michel Biehn was good in that movie as well.
Or maybe not. You don’t want to mess with greatness. Russell, Elliott, Paxton as the brothers, dang. And the bad guys are Powles Boothe, Michael Biehn. And Thomas Hayden Church. (To me THC’s acting in this movie is a little too THC, I’m not a fan. It worked in Sideways but not in Tombstone.)
Compare with The Magnificent Seven, those guys couldn’t act. The early Steve McQueen was not a good actor. Yul Brynner thinks he’s still in Siam.
