RIP.

Man, it's been a hell of a year so far for celebrity deaths.

Smoked himself to death, apparently. Just saying, no judgement.

Also the Academy award winning director of The Elephant Man and his last role was playing legendary director John Ford in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans

Yeah, got to what, 78? Dude loved to smoke. Wasn't shy about it either; talked about smoking like poets do muses....

I think my favorite Lynch movie is Mulholland Drive; but, second would be Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. I like it because it shortens the narrative around Twin Peaks to brass tacks, and also because of David Bowie as an FBI Agent. Just. Wow.

Another vote for Mulholland Drive.

Favorite scene is Naomi Watts’ audition - it’s incredible. She came out of nowhere and was just brilliant. But, Lynch things are Lynch things because of how unsettling he could make a scene like this…the casting, writing, score (use of white noise as atmosphere), direction, all amazing.

Wild at Heart kind of gets lost and I dont' think it should, Cage is his wild self and laura Dern is very good. Bobby Peru is one of the most loathsome people in the Lynchverse and thats saying something .
Not to mention I think I've been through Big Tuna, TX. Scary. RIP

Laura Dern is unforgettable in that, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

This dude was beloved! I have not seen the outpouring of sentiments online like this probably since Bowie passed

No Cherry pie? I pulled my copy of Blue Velvet, and the first 2 seasons of Twin Peaks out to watch.
Ironic that you mentioned Bowie since he was in Fire Walk with me.
