In what appears to be a full team meeting based on the physical setting, he calls out players not participating in class based on a letter from a professor.

I agree with him, but it’s a lost cause. The entire structure of college football now is antithetical to the student athlete model. Not one change that has been made in recent years has been made with the student athlete in mind. And there’s no going back.

God bless him, but he is definitely fighting an uphill battle if the guys have gotten this far without having people in their lives preaching this same message. You can't go through elementary, middle, and high school being told your athletic ability is your one and only hope for success in this world and be expected to stop on a dime when reality hits you in the face.

All true. They're his charges though and he's trying to fulfill his charge. Bravo to Deion
