No need to **** on JMike to praise Simpson. Big fan of Derek - he left because he didn’t see a path to playing time alongside Dylan, and that makes sense (though we could have used his defense badly). He deserves a standing o whenever he’s in the RAC.

Hope he gets another year of eligibility. It’s outrageous that the NCAA gave 5 years of eligibility to players who graduated one or more years before him and will grant five years of eligibility for players who graduated one or more years after him, but not grant it to Simpson and others who graduated from high school the same year he did. Any organization that thinks this is fair and reasonable deserves all the lawsuits it gets.
