Saw where both of his parents died within an hour of each other of heart attacks Wed. Dad had been sick and died, mom had a heart attack and died within the hour. Had been married 56 years. Can't imagine what Flutie is going thru right now.

Always was a Flutie fan. Very well spoken and humble kid in college. Overcame his physical limitations to become a star QB in college and later played in the CFL and NFL. Football will always be a better game becasue of Doug Flutie IMO.

Can still remember watching that game against the U. Can't believe it's been 31 years. The guy that caught that pass I'm sure is the answer of a lot of trivia questions. Always liked Flutie too. Class act.

My first football as a kid was a silver and red (Patriots), kid sized football with Doug Flutie's signature on it. I loved that football.
