OT: Duke Professor with Pancreatic Cancer

Along with N.T. Wright, Richard Hays is has been one of the two or three most influential New Testament scholars in the world in the past 15 years or so - particularly as a Pauline Scholar. Among many other works, he edited and wrote in, along with another Duke professor, Ellen Davis, The Art of Reading Scripture. Hays, who was formerly a professor at Yale University, has served as Dean of Duke Divinity School for the past five years.

Praying for him. My mother in law passed away from pancreatic cancer within six months after being diagnosed. Its one of the worst to have and the procedures to try to rid the cancer don't have a great success rate. Miracles do happen though.
