Anyone else go to Eagles concert last night in Newark? Great show.

Posting here because the group was accompanied by a live orchestra and a choir. Midway thru the show when they were announcing everyone…turns out the Choir was RU’s own Rutgers Kirkpatrick Choir. Pretty neat.

Did not know they were on tour. Seems last show is tonight in Baltimore. Strong setlist:

I saw them several years ago (pre Pandemic) in Newark and they were very good. Can’t go wrong there. Frey’s son Deacon was touring with them and singing many of his father’s parts. Not only does he sound like Glenn but he looks very much like his father did in his 20s. I don’t believe Deacon is touring with them any longer.

He isn’t a full time member of the tour, but he was there last night

Was literally just talking to a guy in the Marriott Inner Harbor for 30 minutes that flew in from Minnesota to Baltimore just to see this Eagles show tonight. He came in and is flying out at 6am tomorrow.

I went to the Yankees game in the day and Springsteen last night and going to Yankees again tonight. One of the best Springsteen shows I have ever seen. The arena was completely renovated(where the Bullets used to play). Seats were great and sound was awesome. Not much room in the corridors though.

There are TONS of Yankee fans here now.
