Lucid crashed and burned last year and this year doesn't look any better!
They didn’t crash and burn. They were an overvalued bubble SPAC that never should have been at $60. Anyone bemoaning these production issues can’t be serious given what Tesla’s early days looked like. And I’m a Tesla owner lol.

They are way ahead of Tesla in terms of lifecycle.

Bad move by Rivian, but did Tesla do the same thing? Why are EV company(ies) unable to deliver on their promised prices?

There is some back and forth about what Rivian did vs. Tesla on the 3 if you click on the tweet.

When Tesla did it, it's clear evidence of sound financial decision-making. When anybody else does it, it's clear evidence of Tesla's vast superiority.

I know this is true because His Holiness, Ascetic Billionaire Saint Elon, said so.

Quoting random, incorrect tweets makes you look more stupid.

Ranger Raptor is supposedly coming to the US finally.
I spoke with a few dealers and they said it would be years if ever. Seems to me that with gas prices rising the Ranger Raptor would be a hit.

"Ford has confirmed that the Ranger Raptor will indeed be sold in the U.S., following the reveal of the global version. Before the official news, we had seen spy photos of it testing as well as a camouflaged prototype of the next-generation Ranger. The Raptor variant will reach showrooms on our shores sometime next year."

Profitable, large scale production of an affordable, new technology is insanely difficult. Throw in supply shortages and shipping delays and it's close to impossible.

Someone in this thread has been saying this for close to a year, despite others insisting a car is a car.

LOL. All hail Elon! All hail Elon. 🤣

And naturally, when Elon did it, it was 100% smooth sailing without nary a hiccup the entire way.
Nope. I've been trying to explain how ridiculously difficult it's been for Tesla. You, on the other hand keep insisting that everyone else will magically catch up and survive the EV transition.

But keep making up your own narrative.

There’s nothing magical about it at all. It’s just business. And I never said everyone will survive. Even if EVs never existed, not all car companies survive forever. Duh.

Of course other car makers will catch up. It’s ludicrous to state otherwise.

That’s great news! I don’t know if dealers were BS’ing me or perhaps it wasn’t official yet. Either way, I bet it’s a huge hit. Hopefully the gas mileage is better than current F150 Raptor’s 15 mpg. That’s the main reason, along with price, I haven’t pulled the trigger.

Wow, corruption? Really stretching here.
The president giving false valor to GM and Ford as the "leaders of the EV revolution". Telling Mary Barra, "You did it! You electrified the entire industry" The president and members of the administration forbidden to say the word "Tesla" publicly for over 2 years. If that isn't corruption, I don't know what is.

i wouldn't say having a CEO who's constantly under investigation by the SEC and a company who openly ignores regulations and has tried to thwart investigations by the NHTSA to be the most virtuous.

Sacrilege!

I cannot imagine why a politician would not want to associate with such a company. It’s just shocking, it is.

Of course - these agencies would never be influenced by politics or executive branch corruption. Really good point lol - what planet are you living on,

so market manipulation rules that have been in place for years shouldn't apply to elon? and safety rules that apply to every other automaker shouldn't apply to tesla? gtfoh.
