Several things at different times at play here as far as budgets. If you know anyone in the Military they can vouch for what I am saying. GENERALLY when the Dems are in charge the focus for funds goes anywhere but the military. So the military gets behind for 4-8 years as money is diverted to social and pet programs like green energy. Then a new President comes in and feels like the military is way behind the curve and has to spend a lot of money to get it caught up. Its a tug of war constantly. Then you get things like the air port technology that is completely outdated and will take years to replace. Likely that the first ones put in will be obsolete before the last one is done. That is just poor planning but the cost is astronomical in money and lives. As for the mob rule, that is what some of the founding fathers characterized Democracy as. It is true. Yes, we vote for our representatives and vote on some things that come before us but overall, the people we elect make the decisions. In a true Democracy, which there are none and any that were tried failed, the people vote on everything - if 6 of 10 say "hang em" you hang em. Of course, the easy way around this but a bit sticky is to keep electing those who promise you more things for free all the while lining their pockets which is going on now in spade. Some where in my studies when the founders were studying all of the worlds governing authorities throughout the ages, someone mentioned a Democracy and one of them bristled and said something to the affect to that word never be mentioned in his presence and it is no where in our documents. We do have popular vote with the electoral college which I believe was also a brilliant move by the founders. Here are few quotes I found,

Where do I ever post that I love democrats or support Biden? I have traditionally voted red most of my life. Trump is not a real Republican. He is already driving up the deficit dramatically. All of this power grab by the executive branch isn’t going to be as funny when democrats come in to power and do the same strong arming he does. Pelosi or Schumer don’t have the guts to ever do anything but if Trumps antics cause someone like Gavin Newsome to get elected and have congress and senate behind him, it will move this country in a direction I don’t think you guys will enjoy. In short: Bullying half the country into submission, and reveling while you do it may be enjoyable and relieve a lot of buildup from listening to Biden, but is it worth turning a whole generation of young kids into democrats? If you are 75 years old, sure. But I have kids and I don’t want them to have to live in a country run by liberals because some 80 year old jackass wants to turn the country into his farewell revenge tour before hitting his dirt nap.
I wonder if they will even bother with trying to impeach. At that point it seems like you would just ride it out.
I love America and Trump is doing everything in his power to turn it into a different form of government. The country has survived for 250 years based on checks and balances and equal branches. I didn’t dislike Trump until he decided to go nuclear and reform the country as he sees fit. The president is supposed to PRESIDE, not create the America he thinks we all need. You sure won’t enjoy it when Newsome stacks the Supreme Court and turns the whole country into California 2.0. Trump thrives by telling you that bullying and undermining half the country is “winning”. We only win when the country does well together. Hillary was an idiot when she used the us vs them analogy and labeled Republicans as Deplorables. They used it as a rallying cry and completely overran democrats. But if Republicans keep going too far, the swing the other way is going to be more permanent and detrimental than you guys can see past your immediate gratification from “sticking it to libs”.
