The fact he ran as a Republican is very telling. He would have ran as a democrat if he thought it would have gained him the presidency. It has nothing to do with his policies. He has done very little in the way of policy outside of immigration control and Tax relief for billionaires and large corporations.
He simply found a group of people that would buy his BS and ran with it. Easy formula. He has said horrific things about women, and has been found guilty of rape and sexual misconduct, said things about his own daughter, admitted to walking into the dressing room during the the miss universe pageants to see young women naked, paid off a pornstar.....etc.... .
All of this helps support the idea that Trump was most likely involved in some way, shape, or form when it came to the Epstein scandal. To ignore this would be disingenuous.
Walking away in 06 or whatever year he claimed has nothing to do with absolving him from his gross misconduct over the past 65 years.

I am a liberal and I disagree with your ideas that maga is any more angry and bitter than the middle to far left. The president was fricken shot in the head, and although a lot of centrists or moderate republicans showed sympathy, a lot of left leaning people were disappointed he didn't die. And they have not done the requisite soul-searching after such an event. Some probably did, and realized they were in too deep but others are just as deranged as before. Charlie Kirk, shot and killed for political beliefs as well. And again, not enough push back from the left against this sort of violence. MAGA feeds off of grievance, of times changed, where poorly educated republicans can't get the jobs their parents got, can't buy the houses their parents bought, and have a perception of loss, which has to be caused by someone. But these grievances are on both sides...the left tends to blame "the rich", as they always have, and the right blames, "the immigrants" as they always have. Politics is a circle, whether you go left or right, the degenerates always meet at the bottom.

Remember Epstein and Trump knew each other for many years before their falling out in approximately 07. There's plenty of documents that lend itself to rationally thinking that Trump was indeed involved in some way, shape, or form in what was going on. He may or may not have sexually interacted with girls under the age of 19, but he most certainly knew what was going on. As did many others.
Regardless, its just one more embarrassing example of why Trump should have never been allowed in the White House.
