I am not going to change anyone's mind about soccer, I was the same til my daughter started to play and now I am hooked. The Euro and Copa along with the World Cup is a must watch for me. That is just me though.

One thing that is nice to me. When you watch a game the only commercials you get are at half time. No f@%king stopping the game every two minutes for 5 minutes of commercials. 45-50 minutes of just uninterrupted game.

Now just on a personal note, it is refreshing to see the other countries players have some ******** pride in their countries have have respect for the flag and the anthems. I will not watch the US Women as there are a fair amount of ingrates on that team that won't even look at the flag during the anthem.

My 2 cents. That is all.

Your second paragraph says it all—the commercials drive me fricken nuts. It ruins the flow of the game. I really enjoy the Euro, Copa and the World Cup sans commercials.

Only caught the 2nd half of Copa last night. Looks like the ref had pretty much lost control by the 2nd half, but what an amazing game! Argentina's keeper was incredible in the pks. I admit I'm a fan of Messi and hoping Argentina takes down Brazil. (I'm not a fan of Neymar the diver.)
