OT: FATBOYS...Or How You Can Learn to Post Images on DI

I promised to get this done a week or so ago, but as usual I've been busy. Some people don't know how to post an image on here (not everyone is computer savvy). A long time ago I made a 'gif' on how to post pictures, but it frankly was pretty crude, and not all that effective. This time I made a short (under 4 and a half minutes) video tutorial to try and explain the process a little better. I used simple, non-technical language, and added a tiny bit of humor (that could be deemed not finny). My speaking voice is not the greatest, but hopefully I can be understood. I have added some visual cues to help.

I don't have a smart phone, nor a Mac computer, but a windows 10 pc, and that's what I use for this tutorial. Probably much of what I cover will be very similar to those other devices.
Hope this will help some of our fellow DI friends to post a few pics on here.

Use 'full screen' (click on the small icon next to 'Vimeo') so as to make this much easier to see and understand.

Hey OAD, I do have a question. Images that I have in imgur will post here for me, but anything that is animated wont. They used to, but wont anymore. Do you know what would cause that?

Yeah, I think so, DukeKY. I touched on that at the end of the video. You copy the 'direct link' to post a photo on here, but if you post a 'gif', then you copy the 'Original GIF Link' and post it on here. I've never posted a 'video' from Imgur, but it could use one of the other 'links' that are listed. Different 'media' require a different 'link'. So, try different links. Hope that helps.

Haha! Probably won't be that many people see it, but I thought it would be cool to throw in a shout-out to you & 'hokie for the great job you're doing. Besides, by that time I figured everyone would be bored stiff and I wanted to see if anyone was paying attention. Congrats, you passed the test, Timo!

Thanks, LT. If it helps just a few people then it was worth the effort, and if it doesn't...well...I garnered a little experience while making my first tutorial.

Great video! How much did you charge Timo and Hokie for the ad? :D

I noticed it got more difficult to post pics recently. Glad to have a solution. I assume Rivals changed a policy or something.

Thanks, FTB!

There was some serious back and forth negotiations on ad revenue. I offered Timo & 'hokie my super duper Oldasdirtdevil discount, but they laughed in my face (or was that a 5PointPlay laugh track?). Anyway, after running the figures of the vast audience my tutorial would reach, we reached an agreement. Thank goodness I didn't have to write too big of a check.

Ive been banned from computers. Foreal. I’m really good with them and used to hack stuff. Etc. Now ya know that about me too. Even banned me from PlayStation online. Banned my whole damn PlayStation console Id. Although there’s ways around that and I still play hahah .Can’t keep me out!

Haha! You know darn well, Bluedevil42 that the only legend around these parts is Big Luke Maye...just ask your husband! But if I'm ever able to ascend to Big Luke status, then you're going to have to show me that my tutorial helped you to post an image on DI. I'm waiting!!!:D

Ok. I’m going to have to ditch the iPad and get the laptop out to do it but I will! I cannot let Luke Maye out legend you. This is my mission and I choose to accept it!
