My fav 2 are Rocky and the original Karate Kid.. Those are also two of my top 5 movies of all time! I think He Got Game falls under my least favorite

I'm not much of a baseball fan, but a lot of the best sports movies seem to fall into that genre. Bull Durham is great.

I would tend to go with Hoosiers, The Natural or Slapshot, but I think I'm gonna have to go with the Sandlot.

I also really like Little Giants.

The Sandlot

Not sure if you would include it under sports movies, but The Wrestler is a fine movie.

1. Rudy
2. Brians song (your not a man if you don't love this movie)
3. Rocky
4. Caddyshack
5. White men can't jump

Honorable mention: friday night lights

The Wrestler is an awesome film smashmouth. I typically find baseball and basketball movies to be complete trash.

I've always been amazed how Chelcie Ross managed to land spots in three of the greatest sports movies of all-time: Hoosiers, Rudy, and Major League.

Friday Night Lights because many of the football scenes actually appear realistic and of course Hoosiers (minus the creepy love story with Gene Hackman and his 20 years younger girlfriend).

I was in Bull Durham! I was in the crowd at the games. You have to know what I was wearing to find me in the crowd shots, but it was cool to do for a day. That and an episode of Matlock in which I played the role of the back of a Janitor (they filmed an episode at the Hospital I worked at) are my claim to fame.

DI has it's own movie star! That had to be a lot of fun, Phil!
I've always wanted to be one of the zombies in The Walking Dead. Thought that would be cool...and I'd save them a bunch of money by not having to have any special make-up applied.

1.Bull Durham- far and away my favorite as well
2.Field of Dreams- What is it with Costner and baseball movies? This one is great too!
3.Rocky IV (I love the intense Cold War feel to this one)

Another Kevin Costner Baseball movie! I forgot about this one but it's great as well. I pitched at a D2 school and when Costner says "Clear the Mechanism" to shut out all the crowd noise and focus on just he and the catcher "playing catch" I love it because it takes me back to my days as a pitcher. We didn't have crowd noise other than a few obnoxious fans but just the way you really need to maintain focus while on the mound really translates well in that film. Good call Heyman!
