I like the coverage from the BTN, but why does it always look like they are recording from the 80’s or 90’s? The quality of the video is not good.Who owns B1G Network? Fox?
Edit: Yes, Fox.
Sounded bad.I'll post this in the Iggles thread as well....

Wow I didn't know that happened. I thought ESPN was losing money?I was extremely disappointed to see that ESPN has acquired the NFL Network. I stopped watching ESPN years ago and NFL Network seemed like a much better product for NFL coverage.
Yes. ESPN acquired RedZone also.Wow I didn't know that happened. I thought ESPN was losing money?
One thing being overlooked by many is how old the Commanders are. By far the oldest roster (with the 2nd oldest D) - even with a young, cheap QB. Given a sport and league that chews players up, that is not a good recipe for success. With a lot of tape on Daniels, and the aforementioned creaky lineup, I see them taking a slide.Interesting off season and alot of story lines as usual.
I got Bengals vs Commanders in the big game (subject to change of course).
- Bengals draft a question mark in the first round and he returns to college!
- Dolphins get Minkah back. Hmm...locker room cancer is the rumble.
- TJ Watt and Rodgers need to win a playoff game.
- Browns being Browns - would not surprise me to see Shedur play just for the notoriety. See Giants for Browns II version of season.
- New England...hmm...Vrabel likes to pound the rock. Maye is going to be a star so I have them making some noise.
- Chiefs still signing OLs as we speak.
- Eagles have enough to defend imho with a healthy Saquon but Commandos are going to be neck and neck.
- This is it Bills. Now or never.
- Totally fascinated by Rams without Cooper Kupp.
- Vikings drop off, Packers win more than last year.
- Raiders always have a roster that just collects a paycheck.
- Micah, please get away from Dallas, what a shtshow!
Okay, I'll ask what may be a stupid question. Why doesn't the B1G own the B1G Network?Who owns B1G Network? Fox?

Not that I know what I’m talking about but it has to be the $$$ bottom line. It’s rarely otherwise.Okay, I'll ask what may be a stupid question. Why doesn't the B1G own the B1G Network?
While I think it’s crazy/collusion that he dropped that far, that didn’t move the needle that much for meGoing by the highlights, Sanders looked good for Cleveland last night. I’ve always thought his biggest plus was his accuracy and yesterday he was putting the ball on the money.
Agree. One of the reasons why Rodgers doesn’t want to play in the preseason is because he said that defenses don’t show anything and it is useless. Which makes sense based on Kenny Pickett looking great in the preseason a few years ago and then struggling when the regular season starts. One preseason game for Sanders does nothing for me.While I think it’s crazy/collusion that he dropped that far, that didn’t move the needle that much for me
I’m just glad Sanders got his chance. For whatever reason, I find myself rooting for him.Agree. I don’t dislike him. I just wish he came without the sideshow. I think it is a hindrance to him. I also think he is in an unfavorable spot in Cleveland. They have no idea what their plan is at QB.I’m just glad Sanders got his chance. For whatever reason, I find myself rooting for him.
Can you imagine the two sided broadcasting if they did?Okay, I'll ask what may be a stupid question. Why doesn't the B1G own the B1G Network?
This is spot on. I saw Sanders play against Caleb Williams in person two years ago. Given that Williams was surrounded by far better players than Sanders, it was clear to me that Sanders is every bit as good as Caleb Williams.I don’t dislike him. Big Ten owns 39%, Fox owns the other 61%.Okay, I'll ask what may be a stupid question. Why doesn't the B1G own the B1G Network?
Interesting take. The expectations are really high based on last year. One thing being overlooked by many is how old the Commanders are. The Commanders were severely lucky in more than a couple games. We’ll see.Interesting take. The expectations are really high based on last year.
I know. So is my spouse and her family. They quote Gibbs liberally and talk about Doug Williams. Steelers fan here so…The Commanders were severely lucky in more than a couple games. We’ll see.

Damn, a whole lot of Lombardi Trophies in your family.I know. So is my spouse and her family. They quote Gibbs liberally and talk about Doug Williams. Steelers fan here so…
An old Chuck Knoll quote about luck. “Luck is for those that don’t know what they are doing”The Commanders were severely lucky in more than a couple games. We’ll see.

Intersquad spring training baseball games?Hard to think of something more pointless than watching a NFL team’s first preseason game.
