I'll surely be rooting for the orange clad Tigers and the ACC tonight. Would be nice for conference to win another national title(FSU '13) in the money sport - football. Attended Duke hoops game at LittleJohn few years back and Clemson fans could not have been nicer.

Clemson - 24
Bama - 20

I used to like clemson until I had a run in with some family of an ex, they were obnoxious so I have to pull against them just to know they are pissed.

Rooting for Clemson, but I think there should have been some backlash over what #42 did to the OSU player. I think he needs a lot more therapy than Grayson (since we have one on here that thinks Grayson needs therapy).

Not sure of you caught the interview last night but they played it off liked it happened all the time.

The whole Offensive Coordinator situation with Alabama is unprecedented, and I am genuinely curious to see how or if that has any effect. It is odd the way it all went down.

I will be rooting for Clemson.

Missed the interview, probably glad I did. I played in college and coached high school football for 15 years and never saw anything like that.

I remember many people weren't about all this Go ACC bs when Duke played Wiscy in the '15 title game so ever since then I'll never pull for the ACC in a big game.

I agree, none of these ACC fans would be pulling for Duke. I rarely ever pull for an ACC team unless they are playing UNC. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I never really appreciated Watson's ability to throw the ball until tonight. I'm impressed.

Clemson showed up in the second half. I think it's kind of funny that the narrative being pushed all season long was that Alabama had one of the all-time great defenses. They did have their moments in the first half, sure, but they gave up 3 touchdowns in the fourth quarter and over 500 yards. Roll over, Tide! Roll over. Go Clemson!!

I will say this....I thought it was incredibly stupid for Clemson to do an onside/pooch kick there at the end. If Alabama recovers they have a chance to throw a Hail Mary and potentially win the game. It just made zero sense to me. I mean, why even take that chance?

They got away with blatant P.I. twice. Spare me the "can't/won't call that" gunk.

But I have no dog in the race.

Or they could have kicked off and give Alabama a chance to possibly set up a return and possibly break one with possible numerous laterals(Duke-Miami 2015). Nothing wrong with the onside. If Clemson player had recovered before his knee hit the ground it would have been over anyway.

Can someone differentiate between a legal and illegal pick in football. It's a really crafty move, which almost guarantees an open receiver. Typically you have a pair of receivers that cross paths, and one receiver will look to block or impede the pathway of the defender covering the other receiver. Hunter Renfrow, of course, had a lot of space to catch that 2-yard touchdown because of the screen. Sometimes they call an illegal screen, sometimes they don't. I'm pretty sure the ball has to go pass the line of scrimmage, which it did in the case of Clemson. But do officials also have to judge the intent of the receiver - as in, was the screen intentional or accidental? Anyone care to elaborate? Seems like Notre Dame got flagged for a pick play in 2014 against FSU in a very similar setting.

That's a miracle. A Hail Mary isn't. I'd rather make them make a play for 80 or 90 yards than being able to throw one up in the air and have a jump ball.

Kick ball out of bounds and Bama gets it at the 35 is safest play IMO.
