are 70-9 with 3 regular season games left. They have to win all 3 remaining games to beat the 95-96 Bulls regular season record. Will they beat it? Will they just tie it? Will they come up a little short?
I hope so! I sure would like to see it, but I see them losing at San Antonio though. Playing at San Antonio is always a very difficult place to play. I think in the end they will tie it because I believe they will win the two games against the Grizzlies.are 70-9 with 3 regular season games left. IT has been a machine the last two months. He has led the Celtics in scoring for every game but one since the end of February. That's a solid team too. Especially with a cap. You got some guys who do certain things well and get numbers in those categories.P.S. @denniden - I rode your boy Isaiah to a championship in my fantasy hoops league. It's a salary cap league and I literally stole him and Kemba Walker in rounds three and four....they paired nicely with Harden, D. Jordan, Aldridge, Melo and Rondo. I won the opening series 3-1 and then had a 4-0 sweep in the finals. By far the best team I've ever had in fantasy hoops.
Losing to the Celtics is definitely not a head scratcher. They have talent and play aggressive with good coaching. They will be a tough out in the playoffs.
I disagree with your 2nd paragraph. They will get rest as soon as the playoffs start. A day off, minimum in between games and they will sweep in round 1 and sit around for 4-5 days for round 2. Go break the record!!I agree with dukiejay, the Bulls team beats them. Though I disagree with how many games. I say 4 or 5 games. Curry, Thompson and Green would have 3 of the best defenders the NBA has ever had on them in Jordan, Pippen and Rodman. Huge difference from what they would see with guys in the NBA now.
I would rest the players and not try too hard to get the record. A title is more important and having somewhat fresh legs is more important than a record. A record can be broken, but a title can't be taken away.
If Steph Curry plays any in the 4th quarter, he's got a good chance to break yet another record. He needs 3 more 3 pointers to break the record for most 3's made by a player in a game. He currently shares the record with 2 other players with 12 made 3's in a game.
Yeah it's ridiculous, especially since he keeps breaking his own recordsNo one will ever even sniff 400 3's. That number is just stupid.
