Black or white, Allen is a prick for intentionally tripping not one but 2 guys. And Laettner was a prick, being white had nothing to do with it. He was a prick to his own teammates, for chrissakes. Watch the 30 for 30 on him. Some guys are just jerks. Plenty of white guys play hard but aren't pricks: Bryant McIntosh is white but no one considers him a prick, because he plays hard and behaves like a professional. Duke guys people hate have earned it.

Update: the gutless ACC issued a "Letter of Reprimand" to Allen. No further action will be taken. Boy, they showed him that they won't tolerate poor sportsmanship.

Coach K called Leonard Hamilton and apologized. If he has any guts he will suspend Allen a game. First trip could be a mistake, second trip is a pattern. Kid is a punk.

You get caught on tape doing what he did and your head better be on a swivel the next time the two teams play. Lots of opportunities to do things in a basketball game that in no way are seen as intentional.
