Arkie may come a calling next. Heard quite a few fans here in la la land say they would take him. They want someone that can recruit Texass and Oklahoma. I don't see it happening as I think that would be a step down and lateral move at best. But then again a lot of them are saying their HC position is a better job than the Tenn job. Bwaaaaaaaaa ha ha ha ha ha

That seems like what should be a fairly smooth transition for Mullett Man...From Reindeer, and such, to Suyeeee Pigs, and such...;)

"Gundy Staying"

I always thought there was something off with the mullet. There have got to be nicer places in hell than stoolwater, home of the paddle people.

I am surprissed he turned em down. All that money, reportedly 7 mil a year and he already has that Tennessee Waterfall running down his shoulders. Seemed like a perfect fit. :D

I think he doesn't want to leave Stillwater. He's just seeing how much rope (insubordination) he can take with TBone and Holder.
If the stories about the Tennessee offer are true, he knows he can kick up his "screw you" a notch with them.

It's been mentioned that OSU faces a rebuilding process perhaps in the next year or two because of graduation. They logic that this might be a good time for Gundy to get out.

BUT ... i think he could build a better team in the immediate future with OSU than with Tennessee. That job at Tennessee looks like a mess.

Also, it would be easier to get a job from his present position at OSU than from a failed job at Tennessee.

Tennessee is in a mess. Perhaps Less Miles could do them as good a job as anyone.

Not surprised he turned down the dumpster fire in Knoxville. Can't blame him for listening to their offer, but he' got a pretty good deal going for him at The Stool. Arkie and others may come calling, but I just don't see him walking away from OSU just yet.

So Mike Gundy was offered $46million to go coach at Tennessee.
He took a day to decline...
... he had to mullet over.
