So a guy, speaking with a heavy accent, and nearly broken English, called me from "United States" (per my cell caller ID). He said he wanted to buy my property. He asked me to verify the property address, and when he read it off to me (some property somewhere in Columbia), I said "Yep! That's it!" He then proceeded to ask if I had a dollar amount in mind for the property. Would you believe that he hung up on me after I told him "Yes, one meeeelion dollars!"? :ROFLMAO:

I swear... I get at least 5-10 of those calls per week.

Why answer the call in the first place.
Your number has now been designated as active. Now they might sell your number to another telemarketer.

Yeah, it doesn’t help at all to block these calls. They’re spoofed numbers - always show up as a different number. As far as answering them - I just thought I’d mess with this cat a little. I’ve answered ones before as I need to answer calls from people outside of my contacts list on occasion - so I’m sure plenty of these scumbags know I’m a live number.

I usually tell then to send me twenty five $1000 Visa gift cards and I'll put them on the list to call before it goes on the market.
They usually hang up but occasionally I get a chuckle or two.
