You can thank the very strong El Nino for the windshear that has made it near impossible for Atlantic storms to develop

The Pacific has seen 16 named storms, and 3 major hurricanes- also due to the strong El Nino

The developing Super El Nino- possibly one of the strongest ever- is likely to cause us some trouble this winter

"The shear has been record-strong this summer across the Atlantic's so-called main development region, which extends from Africa through the Caribbean. Many storms get their start in this region at the height of the season — mid-August to early October — but this year it's been nearly shutdown" according to Phil Klotzbach, a hurricane expert with Colorado State University.

However, tropical storms in the region have been disasters

Tropical Storm Arthur's remnants fueled widespread flooding along the central Gulf Coast in June. Cottonport, Louisiana, was drenched by 29.06 inches of rain in 24 hours, which obliterated the previous state record of 22 inches set back in 1962. The record is still being reviewed and certified.

Heavy rain from Tropical Storm Edouard less than two weeks ago resulted in dangerous flash flooding and water rescues in eastern Texas. A month's worth of rain fell in an hour and rainfall totals topped 20 inches in some areas north of Beaumont.

Just to be clear --- what you're saying is that it's a coincidence that over 60 years of satellite tracking (who knows how far back it actually goes) -- the year they stop cloud seeding there are no hurricanes to be found -- but that's because of this year's El Nino?

Stupid global warming causing fewer hurricanes.

Also causes more hurricanes.

Also causes the normal amount of hurricanes.
Yes. This.

It's super incredible to me that these "global warming" nuts that claim to be so intelligent will never tell you the other side of the story. (Probably because they have no clue)

The other side: Yes, our climate on Earth goes through heating periods and cooling periods, or ice ages. - We know this. We've known this for a long time. Earth has been through many warming and ice ages, enough so that we can even somewhat predict it via a regular calendar. (100's of thousands of years, give or take) - And when you look at a statistical data set like that, you're going to see the obvious pattern..... we're getting ready to go into our next ice age soon - ish..... thus, it stands to reason that before we get there, we will hit the "peak" of the hot / warming period, which is right about now..... ish.

It's not complicated and our monster trucks have nothing to do with it, and never did.

Global warming or lack thereof is not the theme here.

Hurricances were being created on purpose for finanical incentive, global warming propaganda, etc.

Think about that ridiculous super storm in Asheville last season and the devastation. That's just one of dozens.

Insanity.

Same deal with the fires in LA and Maui. Agenda based evil.

I understand what you're saying. - I'm even inclined to lean towards believing your premise.

What I was saying is that willful ignorance to an obvious freakin' weather calendar to push an equally "agenda based evil" .....is in fact, an Agenda based evil in and of itself. I don't know if we can control the weather, but I certainly believe we can influence it, even strongly.

There's a channel on youtube called "The Why Files" (which is fantastic, btw, just scroll through the videos and watch a topic that interests you. Some will, some won't.) The point is, find the episode he did on "Darpa" - Got him emotional as I recall. He called it an evil, but a necessary evil unfortunately. He wasn't happy about it. Great Youtube Channel. I mean, really good. Tv production quality.

Most people do not realize that the temperature of the Pacific Ocean is the most important influence on the weather in the entire US. It has nothing to do with so called Global Warming. It has everything to do with the uneven heating of the earths surface by the sun. The winds blowing desert dust from Africa across the southern US also helped prevent weather systems from forming in the southern US.

Of course that was why the change of name to "climate change".

Then, any increase or decrease feom the absolute average can be complained about.

Roo, I don't think anyone on this board (with a brain) doubts that "cloud seeding" is a thing. IIRC, it's been known since the Korean or Vietnam war.

I think that some people have a problem with allowing their brains to get past the "yes, it's a thing", into the more obvious implication : "But we'd never use it for harm..." - Yes, yes we would. I don't doubt it at all. I'm saying others have problems accepting a reality that is way more evil than they are willing to accept. They don't want to live in that world....so, they ignore it because it's easier.

So cloud seeding is spawing the hurricanes in the Eastern Pacific?

One thing about mucking forons, they can't help outing themselves.

You must have also missed the US Patent posted above.

They've been doing it all over the world in the name of global warming.

Most AI is programmed not to talk about this so you're not going to get much from it.

60 years of hurricanes on the Eastern Seaboard stop when they stop seeding off the coast of Africa.

What are the odds?

The State of FL banned it as well.

In 2025, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis strongly supported and signed legislation that banned cloud seeding and other forms of weather modification/geoengineering in the state.

Key details:
  • He endorsed and signed Senate Bill 56 (SB 56), which took effect July 1, 2025. The law prohibits “the injection, release, or dispersion… of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, weather, climate, or intensity of sunlight.”
  • This explicitly covers cloud seeding and related activities. Violations are a third-degree felony, with penalties of up to five years in prison and fines up to $100,000.
  • DeSantis publicly backed the bill, stating things like: “Florida is not a testing ground for geoengineering… We already do not permit this type of activity, but we are going the next step to ensure it does not happen in this state.” He framed it as rejecting “kooky ideas” about blocking the sun or unilateral chemical releases, while also criticizing aspects of a House version of similar legislation.

I am not debating weather science with someone who is pasting posts from X from random nobodies who don't understand what they are posting or how to interpret much of anything.

For one thing, I am not a weather or atmospheric scientist, and I don't even understand some of the terminology or the concepts. You don't either. The random nobodies you believe and paste here don't either.

I am also not going to entertain ideas from someone that thinks a governor banning "cloud seeding" stopped hurricanes when the bill that was signed banned something that was already prohibited in Florida and certainly had not stopped hurricanes in Florida. Political stunts aren't very interesting but clearly some people are dupes for them.

I just don't have the time or interest in debating someone that could be that ignorant. Sorry.

However, I will be here when the next hurricane hits Florida

That would be like talking to yourself. Wait, you already did that in another thread.

Good thing you wont write a long post responding to the guy though, as you respond with a long post doing just that.

The government admitted ongoing weather manipulation 70+ years ago

Below is a link to the CIA site declassified a letter document to Robert Cutler, the then acting Special Assistant to the President in 1953 (Freemason Harry S. Truman) from Allen W. Dules, Director of the CIA, you know, the guy who approved the MKUltra experiments... here he is explaining how well manipulating the weather was going and how it could have "strategic" uses.

So basically you had the Director of the CIA telling the President's Special Assistant that they are having much success manipulating the weather and how it can be used in any strategic way they feel.

The next page speaks on manipulating weather in New Mexico and causing significant rainfall.

Now what do you think they can do today after 70+ years of research and advanced technology?

  • Irving Langmuir, a Nobel laureate involved, publicly stated he was 99% certain the seeding caused the course change, leading to public outrage, "low Yankee trick" headlines, and lawsuit threats against the government that ultimately fizzled.

180 lbs of dry ice in a hurricane would be like spitting in the ocean and a B17, an unpressurized propeller driven airplane with a top speed of around 300 mph and a maximum ceiling of around 30,000 feet, would likely not survive flying into a hurricane.

Also, Hurricane King was in 1950, did not hit Savannah and never made a sharp westward turn.

This was 1947. In 1953, the CIA is performing operations (see above.)

-----------

On October 13, 1947, Project Cirrus—an effort involving General Electric and U.S. government/military researchers—conducted the first hurricane-seeding experiment. A B-17 released crushed dry ice into a hurricane then several hundred miles east of Florida. NOAA's detailed history says they released 80 lb during a long seeding run plus two additional 50-lb drops, for roughly 180 lb total.

And the remarkable sequence really did happen:

Hurricane → seeded → abrupt turn → Georgia landfall.

The storm had been moving away from the United States. After the experiment, researchers discovered that it had made approximately a 135° left turn, moved westward and strengthened. It subsequently struck near Savannah on October 15.

Contemporary/historical accounts put damage around $2–3.3 million (1947 dollars) and report one death. Public suspicion immediately focused on Project Cirrus. TIME reported the colorful contemporary accusation that the hurricane might have resulted from a "low Yankee trick."

Irving Langmuir, the GE Nobel laureate who championed cloud seeding, did believe the experiment had affected the storm. But subsequent meteorological analysis did not establish causation. Researchers discovered that a 1906 hurricane had followed a remarkably similar track, and later analysis found evidence that the 1947 hurricane's turn had already begun before the seeding. Modern accounts therefore don't treat Project Cirrus as having redirected the hurricane.

NOAA's historical account puts the situation particularly well: the aircraft seeded the storm, observed changes in the clouds, and then found the hurricane roughly 100 miles west of where they expected it the following day. The coincidence was alarming enough that the controversy effectively stopped further Project Cirrus hurricane experiments.

Hurricane Hunters do indeed use propeller powered aircraft to penetrate the eyewall at around 10,000 feet. Usually a converted Hercules cargo plane.
