We’re staying in North Myrtle Beach. Are you staying in North Myrtle Beach or South Myrtle Beach? If you’re staying in North Myrtle Beach and you see a guy in a wheelchair wearing a Duke hat or Duke shirt at a restaurant or anywhere then there’s a good chance that it’ll probably be me. lol
We will be staying Surfside Beach.. I’ll be the guy in Duke gear, fist fighting a gang of midgets wearing Coastal Carolina apparel.

Just returned from 8 days on Hilton Head Island in Sea Pines. Best place for a family vacation. High 80's and breezy every day plus golf courses are incredible. Saw a few gators.

@LetsGoDuke301, I’m going to be in your area tomorrow through Friday. I coach an 11 year old baseball team, and our Southeast Regional tournament is in Wilmington.
Wouldn’t mind meeting you, if you’re around.

Glad you liked it. Laet. I have had only one experience with Hilton Hell, and it was horrible. Details aren't important. Enjoy the rest of the Summer.

So on top of us being woke up by a false fire alarm at about 6:30 Sunday morning. I was going to go downstairs and sit outside to enjoy the nice evening ocean breeze but the elevators aren’t working for some reason. Someone told my brother in law that one of the elevators is stuck on one of the floors and the doors to get into the lobby are also locked and so are the doors to the stairwells. So until they get the elevators working I’m stuck with staying on our floor and if I want to go outside I’ll have to sit out on our balcony unless my dad and brother in law want to carry me down 4 flights of stairs in my wheelchair to get to the ground floor and we learned that isn’t going to be easy on Sunday morning because we have to turn at the bottom of each flight of stairs to go down the next flight of stairs. Let’s see what else goes wrong this week. lol

Nice! We had to leave our beach house because it hadn’t been updated since WW2 (barely an exaggeration).. We were able to find a ‘decent’ hotel in Murrils Inlet to spend the last 4 days of our vacation.

Something similar happened to us years ago when we went to a place called White Lake. The place we rented a room from was remodeling so we found another place to stay and we’ve been staying there ever since when we go to White Lake.

Hey, lemme ask you all a question.... what’s your take on a radio at the beach and the etiquette of it? We are here for a week, and this group plopped down next to us yesterday blaring 80s rock like Poison and Bon Jovi. Goes against one of my primary beliefs, that you don’t bother other people with your stuff. Am I just old?

At beach last week a set of parents allowed their teens to blast music with F-bombs and the worst word in the English language. The lack of self awareness in society is astonishing. I accidentally knocked their sound bar face down into the sand, my wife walked away b/c she was laughing so hard.

I agree. There is a house boat a few slips down from ours that thinks it’s their job to supply music for the entire marina

I love that there’s a Bass Pro Shops at Myrtle Beach but at the same time it’s bad because I went to it last year and again this year and spent money both times. lol

Great restaurants there as I recall. Live music and bars. You could be in worse places.

I always hit RIOZ and Captain Georges. Dolly Partons Pirate Voyage show is awesome. Can't go wrong with a visit to Legends either. And then rolling all the way around Broadway at the Beach and Margaritaville.

I’ve been to Broadway at the Beach twice since we’ve been here

It’s the end of our last night at Myrtle Beach and we’re leaving sometime in the morning. I’m kind of ready to go home and I’m kind of not ready to go home. I bought me a knife at a knife store at Barefoot Landing. It was $97 and some change and it’s the most that I’ve ever spent on a knife. I had never spent more than $40 pm a knife before I bought this knife. There was another knife that I saw when we went by there a few days ago that. I wanted but I decided not to buy if then because I knew that I was going to be buying beef jerky and when I went back today they had sold it...so the woman gave me a business card with their website so I might go on the website and order it when I get paid again. lol
