Unfortunately, we need to root hard for Wisconsin. UCLA’s schedule the rest of the way is super easy and we need them to lose at least two games plus we need quality wins against ranked opponents Wisconsin is one of our best chances for thatWell, UCLA's stint in the top 25 sure was fun. Their offense couldn't do a thing against Oregon, they had to be gifted the ball 20 times. Still hope they beat those ******** badgers though.
Passing stats are nothing impressive with a 4/4 TD/INT, but his mobility is definitely a factor that adds to their running game success. They are now down to their 3rd string qb though.I actually don't think this lowers UCLA's ceiling that much. He's not the best decision maker and struggles with accuracy consistency. It's the rest of UCLA that has been impressive.
Everything you said is true, but on the other hand: **** Wisconsin.Unfortunately, we need to root hard for Wisconsin. The backup Is the unknown I didn't know this would be their 3rd string either. If that's case it may lower it some but I only consider nico to be a mediocre Starter and not the biggest reason for Bruins season. I was really impressed with their defense Saturday and they have great rushing attack. I suppose some of that can be attributed to Nico as you point out. I still think they'll win 10 games.Passing stats are nothing impressive with a 4/4 TD/INT, but his mobility is definitely a factor that adds to their running game success. Yeah oregon's defense is good at punching opponents while they are downThe backup Is the unknown I didn't know this would be their 3rd string either. The thing I've noticed about the "Peanut Punch" is that it has become extremely violent. It's like players aren't even going for the ball anymore and are just trying to get a lick in. It's a thing in the NFL as well.No suspension. He was trying to hit the ball out, which is approved by the NCAA. The man moved. He missed. His hand hit the helmet a glancing blow.
Sorry until the NCAA cleans up the rules it's ok in my opinion.
I do think this should be made illegal and that other rules need to be enforced. For instance, on the Tush Push. You never see a block to the back called, but I have seen 300 lb lineman launch themselves into the back of a DB to move the pile. Another penalty that needs to be enforced is OFFENSIVE Pass Interference. Way too many offensive players initiating contact and then it gets called on the defender.
Yea, guy is already down, there is no explaination that they are trying to get the ball out when he’s been down a couple of seconds, bouncing on his knees, twisting his head then a forearm shiver to his throat. They are trying to injure a qb who is down , bear Alexander should be suspended. It’s not like he’s going to miss classes for his engineering degreeLooked like the Oregon guy got in a shot at the end there as well. Not surprised.

To add, the Ducks coach Lanning is the one who two weeks ago was berating the USC defender and his shot on the sliding QB, and in his presser he was going on about how NONE of his players would EVER be guilty of a cheap shot at an opposing player. I about laughed so hard I bust a gut. The Ducks have their own History of this type of play, and that's just another example.Yea, guy is already down, there is no explaination that they are trying to get the ball out when he’s been down a couple of seconds, bouncing on his knees, twisting his head then a forearm shiver to his throat. You could do what I do and just not root for anyone in the big ten and just watch the chips fall where they do.

Go back and watch the replay. He's clearly down, on the ground. His butt is on the ground. Then the twist and punch, and the defender really has no angle at the ball. He's just trying to get a blow in on a guy who already down. What you're describing typically happens when a player is held up by defenders and someone pokes at the ball while they're being held up. That's not what happened here.No suspension. He was trying to hit the ball out, which is approved by the NCAA. The man moved. He missed. His hand hit the helmet a glancing blow.

I went back and watched it again after my first post to you. Obviously you're talking about the guy on top of him #6, and that was close, although I think he was down. I'm talking about the 2nd guy Alexander, (#1 or #7, hard to see), who comes in around his shoulders, while the QB is clearly down, and twists his head and takes a swing, and its no where near where the ball is. Its Alexander who should have been penalized. No suspension. He was trying to hit the ball out, which is approved by the NCAA. The man moved. He missed. His hand hit the helmet a glancing blow.

Bye bye UCLA.
yikes, that might be the end of UCLA
I guess the Tenn coach just turtled like Kirk does.......What a shame. UCLA could had been best team in the Big10. Losing Nico is a huge loss. Remember him running through and around the Iowa D in that toilet bowl a few years ago. In his first start! Tennessee won that game 35-0 and could had won 56-0.
Teams will just stack the box as they become very one dimensional.Na. They have an elite HC, they'll be just fine. Wonder how Penn State feels about passing on this dude for Campbell
