Watching a History Channel series on Walt Disney. Got me thinking, if you could be one figure from history, who would it be? Walt had a very interesting life and gets credit for much of what we now know of as animation. Had to be a damn fun life. Also, maybe couldn’t argue with Jimmy Buffett. I’m sure there are other better choices. What say you all?

Jimmy Buffett? Thanks but no thanks. Died too young.

Off the top, I'd say Warren Buffett. Filthy rich, lives humbly, respected and admired the world over. But I would've spent more of his money! :D

One of my first cars (my grandfather gave it to me) was a used de Soto Adventurer. A 5.7L hemi engine with dual 4 barrel carburetors. Probably got about 8 mpg if I was driving normally. Which I rarely did.

The car came out of the factory with 3 exterior colors. Mine was pink, brown and cream, with some multicolored seating fabric as an interior. I had a pimp mobile before I knew what a pimp was.

My grandmother hated the car and always called my grandfather a fool for buying it. She nagged him restlessly until he bought a black Chrysler with a black interior.

I think I’d like to be one of the unnamed traveling companions of Luke and the apostle Paul as we read about in the New Testament. They went on some pretty wild and adventurous missionary journeys and definitely saw some things well out of the ordinary while proclaiming the greatest story ever told to people who never heard about it before.

Alexander the Great. Accomplished so much and when he found himself frustrated by a lack of support by his people (they were satisfied with what they had conquered) he checked out on top. Plus, Socrates was his tutor.
Fixed.
