Sons going to college in two weeks and is very concerned about not bring able to watch his shows because he won't have cable. How can he get shows ie: HBO/showtime series & cable channels on his computer? We subscribe to netflix and amazon prime at the house. I'm sure they have internet access in the dorms. Any help. I know "poor baby, when i was in college"!

He will have access to that. Showtime Anytime is the Showtime version - I think there's some restrictions based on provider.

Hbogo is money. AppleTV now has an app too (along with Netflix and watchESPN), if he will have that. If you have HBo, Find out your login and password to give to him to use.
No cable in a dorm room? Surely they will/do have cable in dorm rooms.
We went and toured State a few weeks ago and I was blown away by these new dorm rooms.
Wifi hot spots in most every building on campus especially the dorms.
Some dorms even have washing machines and dryers that work with a smart phone - telling you when your clothes are done.....sick!

Those Baptists in Poplarville won't allow television in the town....just kidding. PRCC is a good community college as are all of them in the state of Mississippi for basic corps courses the first two years. I remember my professors at Hinds were far better than the ones I had at State.
In Suttle in 1982 we could get WCBI, WTVA (is Dick Rice still there?) and some fuzzy ABC station. A guy on 9th floor ran a cable to the roof & put a little antenna up. He was pulling Greenwood, Tuscaloosa, Jackson stations.
