I think the new X-Files season is pretty good. X-Files is my #1 all time favorite show, Mad Men a close second.

It's not perfect, in fact the theme is a little bit redundant, I miss the stand alone episodes from Season 1, 2, 3....but honestly, I just don't care - X-Files is back and Scully is looking hot Milfy and Moulder is true to character.

Anyone else watching?

Yep - is this only going to be 6 shows or will they bring it back next year? I love that the Smoking Man is back. Used to watch it with my daughter and we would whistle the theme song together.

I'm not saying I wouldn't be all over it. Just saying she closer to grand Milfy than Milfy

Also saying makes me feel real old.

I really liked Episode 3, even though it was goofy. For those who watched and didn't notice, the guest characters outfit was a tribute to Kolchak (often credited as inspiration for X-Files). Also in the cemetery scene, Moulder stand next to a gravestone for Kim Manners, one of the original producers/directors of the show.

Scully was looking good in her "sex scene".

That episode was fun, enjoyed it.

I loved "Kolchak". Darren McGavin gave that character a goofy intense edge that was rare in the days when "Kojak" and "Cannon" types ruled the airwaves. When the **** hit the fan, Kolchak hauled *** the other way.

It looks like they're playing up Gillian Anderson's looks this time around on the "X-Files" In the first run they used to play them down via wardrobe and makeup to the level of making her look boxy and ten years older than she was.

I am one of the bigges X-Files fans that ever lived but I am not liking the new series. Kind of goofy so far, more slapstick than mystery/horror. And as for Scully, she is looking old and haggard to me. The years of smoking have taken their toll. We all get old but at 47 she should be a knockout and she's not. Maybe it's the new longer hairdo but her face looks longer and definitely more tired. Clearly from reading below my opinion is mine alone and not shared by the masses.

This thread has proved that the Internet has come full circle. The Internet started with geeks asking "Do you think that chick on the 'X-Files' is hot?" and 25 years later we're back at it.

Ain't technology great?

Post a photo of your wife, she better be an absolute 10.

And girls grow up to have self-esteem issues, I can't imagine why.

The Kolchak series is on Netflix, if you have it. Not the TV movies though.

I'm a sucker for a good monster mystery.

LOL....I thought Scully was a babe in the original, just not so much now. My wife is good looking but certainly not a 10.

Definitely watching. This week's episode was a different almost campy style and alot of fun. Wish it was more than a 6 episode season. Hopefully, it will continue!

Yeah, everybody's wife is smoking hot and they stay 24 years old forever, even if they have kids, they have no wrinkles, no age spots, no worry lines, no sagging skin, no health issues, no worries, forever young. Right up into their 80s

For those unfamiliar with Kolchak, it's a great 70's show which inspired the X-Files. Darren McGavin (father from Christmas Story), plays the lead character who is a reporter that investigates unusual stories - monsters, sci-fi, ect. A really fun and underrated show, and McGavin is great.

It was before my time but I loved it from the first episode. The kind of show they just don't make anymore, unfortunately.

The campiness worked. I thought it was funny. Basically an episode full of Easter Eggs for X-Files fans.

I want more individual, stand alone monster/creeper episodes...
