OT: Jerry Krause, RIP

A couple years before the Bulls made their run I had the opportunity to work with Jerry Krause.

What struck me about him at that time was the combination of professionalism and kindness. And that he was a great listener. When something difficult was being discussed he'd put his head down and completely focus on what was being said. He'd never interrupt. Always respectful of everyone in the room.

Now that he's passed away, he's getting some positive coverage in the press. It's too bad that didn't happen when he was alive.

That's nice to hear. He is definitely under appreciated. He made some bold moves to build those championship teams, including hiring Jackson. Reinsdorff is in the basketball hall of fame and he is not. That makes no sense to me at all.
