OT: Joker out of the US Open due to COVID policy

Joker, an extremely healthy, 35-year old, professional athlete, has not been vaccinated against COVID. The official US policy is that non-citizens may not enter this country w/out being vaccinated. Thus, the #1 player in the world is being prevented from playing in the US Open.

The illegals streaming across our southern border are, for the most part, unvaccinated but they are NOT prevented from entering our country. To my knowledge, they are not even tested for COVID and sent back if positive (I may be incorrect). In what universe does this insanity make any sense whatsoever?
