Unfortunately, Sky, you've misjudged the talent of some of your fellow posters. You didn't provide a 3rd choice for people who can wink equally well with either eye. Do not discriminate against me because I'm amphibious.:p

Sky, you should join me on the national college basketball board. Lots of interesting topics.

What's the link? Ever since we went to this new format of message boards I haven't been able to find. The link I have in my favorites takes me someplace completely different.

No doubt. His artwork would be great over there.

I see our old buddy coryfly is a hoss over there. Haven't thought about him in a long time. Seems like a good board. I'll need to post a little different over there I guess since it is a diverse board. I'll need to respect that. OFC

I generally have respect for him, but he took the most ridiculous stand yesterday. He refused to put Duke in his top-5 toughest games on UNC's schedule next season because the official ACC schedule has not been released yet. It was pretty ridiculous.

Are there new teams to the ACC he's waiting to hear about? Kansas, MD, UK? etc.?

Timo, here is his initial response that prompted a prolonged back and forth. Notice the unprovoked jab at Duke? Or the fact that Northern Iowa will be tougher at this point in his mind?

I'm not sure. UNC's schedule isn't all that daunting to be honest. Of course, Duke's isn't either and ESPN was pumping up how brutal their schedule was the other day so maybe UNC's is at least ridiculously tough.

Right now I would say with what has been released that at Texas and at Northern Iowa could be tough. Then there is Maryland (home) and UCLA (neutral). Those would be my four I suppose, though I really don't know how Texas and UNI (I know they lost some guys) will be this year. Still, games on the road should be weighted differently than home or neutral contests in terms of how tough they are, which is why I included the first two.

Cory seems to overlook the reality that UNC's schedule this season is nearly identical to their schedule last season, which was near the top of most SOS rankings. The major difference this year is that they replace Ohio State with Maryland. If anything, their schedule should be tougher this season. Not in Cory's mind. I guess he's assuming a 40-0 season?

I haven't seen Cory post much lately, but much like many before him (GSD, Archer, etc.) he let the animosity of the scandal (and Duke's success) poison him imo. Last season every time I saw him post about a UNC game (or a Duke game) it was all about the refs.

Before Duke won the 2010 championship...all the Heel posters were such nice guys, and posted over here with respect. Yeah, it's pretty easy to be nice when everything goes your way. Now, it's not nearly as much fun...for them. Will have to say I'm enjoying though.

Just be prepared if they don't win it this year how many people will get blamed for it.

Even worse, if they happen to win it this year, they'll be unbelievably obnoxious. You'll have the "I told you so's" matched with the coming out of the woodwork fans that havent been seen in a few years.

Things really changed after the 2010 NC. I've been saying that for a long time but they were pretty good posters during the2009 season. Wonder why. OFC
